"Weddings are supposed to be about the love between the bride and the groom, but all too often the groom gets kind of sidelined in this industry and everything becomes about the bride. We wanted to create an inspiration for a wedding that was just as groom-friendly as it was bride-friendly. We incorporated dutch patterns, dark blues, and leather to accomplish this as well as pretty florals and bronze accents to still keep it light and celebratory. We knew that dark blues and leather would play to a more rustic wedding, but we wanted to keep things upscale and more luxurious rather than country rustic. We chose Abbey Road Farm because it not only is extremely versatile, but also because of the beautiful views it has. The amazingly sweet goats didn't hurt either!"
