Southern Oregon wedding venue Crook Point is proving that a wedding celebration can create an impact that extends far beyond the state's coast.
The family-owned venue has been recognized by global nonprofit VOW for Girls for its ongoing partnership to help end child marriage and expand educational and economic opportunities for girls around the world. Crook Point was recently featured in VOW for Girls' June newsletter, highlighting the venue's commitment to purpose in every celebration it hosts.
Since launching the partnership in 2021, Crook Point has donated to VOW for Girls for every wedding and elopement booked at the property. Today, the venue contributes $200 from every newly contracted wedding or event, helping fund grassroots organizations that provide education, mentorship, leadership opportunities and resources that empower girls to stay in school and avoid child marriage.
Perched along more than two miles of private Southern Oregon coastline, Crook Point has long been known for its dramatic oceanfront ceremony sites and seven generations of family stewardship. That legacy of hospitality now extends beyond its own property, connecting each celebration with a broader mission of creating brighter futures for girls worldwide.
VOW for Girls is a global movement that partners with wedding professionals, venues and couples to help end the international child marriage crisis. The nonprofit directs 100% of public donations to community-led organizations working to advance girls' rights through education, health resources and economic opportunity.
For couples planning their wedding at Crook Point, the partnership offers the option to celebrate their own love story while helping ensure girls everywhere have the freedom to choose their own futures. It's a reminder that even a single wedding day can leave a lasting impact far beyond the guest list.
