High school sweethearts Regina Vera and Michael Morrissette kept things elevated yet relaxed at their vineyard wedding. “The couple’s style leans toward classic and polished, but they also wanted to incorporate the immersive wine country setting the guests had experienced over wedding weekend,” says planner Cherish Simpson. Clean white blooms were central pieces of the ceremony space, while the reception included notes of pink for an added flair. The reception was also replete with personal touches. Regina hand-wrote each place card, and the couple selected a wine cork that represented each guest for the place cards to rest upon. Keeping the guest list intimate meant Regina and Michael could place an emphasis on dinner, their favorite part of any night. Alchemy Catering created a custom pairing menu that was topped off by cheesecake. One of the couple’s first dates was a Kenny Chesney concert during their senior year of high school and they have gone to many of the country singer’s shows in the 12 years since. So it was only fitting that they took to the dance floor for the first time as husband and wife to Chesney’s “Don’t Happen Twice.”
