For their intimate Portland wedding, Rachelle and Will wanted a cozy, autumnal feel. The palette featured rich shades of orange, red and black accented with hints of blush and gray for a vibe that was at once moody and soft.
Gray velvet table linens and draped fabrics added to the warm and welcoming ambiance, while cement urns, black flatware and black acrylic signage contributed a bit of edginess.
Dinner featured a mix of plated and family-style dining, followed by mini desserts to accompany the cake. The newlyweds and their friends danced into the night under twinkling lights; then, the couple surprised their guests with a late-night snack of chicken and waffles. “Will and I had so much fun at the reception, we didn’t leave the dance floor the whole night,” says Rachelle.
