Want to take wedding entertainment to the next level? Try putting a larger-than-life twist on an old classic. After discovering a giant game of Jenga at a Portland bar, Jighna Patel and Sarthak Shah decided the hands-on game would stack up nicely with guests at their three-day wedding at Mount Hood’s Resort at the Mountain. “We thought it added a casual and fun vibe to our Friday welcome night,” Patel says of the first-night festivities. With the help of a Home Depot project tutorial, the couple handcrafted the giant Jenga pieces and set the game up alongside mock food carts filled with their favorite foods to give the evening an authentic Pacific Northwest feel. Patel explains, “We wanted our out-of-town, first-time visitors to the Northwest to feel like they were really in Oregon, and our guests loved it!”
