“Get married where the wild winds roam,” Wind Mountain Ranch promises, with its 22 acres of spectacular wilderness, sweeping vistas and western charm in the Columbia River Gorge. While dreaming up the inspiration for this shoot, lead planner and designer Amanda Bloom of Amanda Jean PDX Events and photographer Briana Morrison recall finding their muse in the venue and growing from there. An empowered, elegant design scheme followed suit—a “sophisticated yet subtle palette that mixed with textures to provide an upscale feel in the raw setting of meadows, evergreens and the Columbia River Gorge,” Bloom describes.

Letters and Dust’s elegant stationery suite recalls the past with vintage stamps, torn-edged invites and a custom envelope liner—styled with one-of-a-kind accessories from Flat Lay Library.

We also found INSPIRATION in Beyoncé’s 'Cowboy Carter' album, and you’ll notice a deliberate absence of a male model in this shoot. This decision was meant to underscore the power of FEMININITY in all its forms, showcasing its strength, RESILIENCE and rebellious spirit. I wanted this shoot to evoke that FIERCE energy within all of us.

The bride looks effortlessly chic basking in the Pacific Northwest sun, wearing the “Evie” gown from Dalliance Gown Rentals.

The intimate gathering blended in with the natural surroundings, featuring wooden chairs and tables topped with organic arrangements that looked as if they were gathered from a nearby field.

When conceptualizing the design, I aimed to capture the Gorge's RAW and UNTAMED nature. There’s a wild, almost mystical energy in that landscape that feels TRULY nourishing for the soul.
