Michelle Morin and Lewis Williams celebrated their wedding with a full weekend of festivities. After a welcome party on Friday at Stevens Pavilion in Portland’s Hoyt Arboretum, the couple held their wedding celebration on Saturday at The Evergreen. That was followed by a farewell brunch with family in the backyard of their home on Sunday morning. Meeting about 12 years ago, the couple celebrated their love in style with unusuality touches that featured vibrant and playful floral décor. Local summer berries served as inspiration, with a floral palette of mixed auburn tones, soft mauves, pops of pink and white, along with greenery. The arrangements featured beautiful dahlias, garden roses, sunflowers and Queen Anne’s lace. As part of their nontraditional wedding, Michelle and Lewis spent the morning of their wedding together before walking down the aisle. They also made the choice of mini pies for dessert. In a nod to the couple’s years together, the reception design featured photos of their relationship throughout the years at every table to coincide with the table numbers. To support women-owned businesses, Michelle chose her wedding apparel and accessories from female entrepreneurs. She also had an amazing fashion moment during the reception party when she appeared in a fringed mini dress and then danced all night with her groom.
