Styled Shoot
An intimate editorial featuring rich color, romantic textures and dramatic floral design.

For this bold winter shoot at Easton Broad, Heather and Scott—married the summer before—stepped into a whole new chapter: an editorial take on what a Valentine’s wedding could look like with a moodier twist. Stylist Amy Ha of Amore Coordination leaned into a color story of black, gold and deep fuchsia to create something rich, romantic and unexpected.

The drama began at the ceremony site, staged in the center of the industrial venue. A hanging floral grid of carnations, roses and delphinium cascaded from above, mirrored below by a lush, circular nest of jewel-toned blooms. Heather stunned in a showstopping black gown with a slit and sweeping train, while Scott’s deep green suit added a striking, tailored contrast.

As the evening progressed, the couple shifted to a candlelit sweetheart table framed by the same sculptural florals, echoing the intimacy of the ceremony. Purple and lilac taper candles danced in gold holders, with velvet napkins and watercolor cocktails adding textural delight. The drink of the night, aptly named Cruel Mystery, leaned into the theme with a signature hue and just the right air of intrigue.

Touches of whimsy and richness continued into dessert, with a curated shelf of sweets and a painterly cake that looked almost too pretty to cut. The design team proved that a winter wedding doesn’t have to be muted—instead, it can be alive with color, layered in texture and absolutely unforgettable.
