Inspired by the theme "Unlocking Endless Possibilities," Oregon Wedding Day's Best of 2026 celebration transformed The Ritz-Carlton, Portland into a glamorous speakeasy layered with hidden experiences and luxurious details. Planned by Your Perfect Bridesmaid, the evening welcomed Oregon's wedding industry professionals into an immersive celebration where velvet textures, dramatic florals and vintage-inspired elegance set the stage for a night honoring the region's best.
Guests made their way through a dramatic, speakeasy-inspired tunnel made up of draped scarlet velvet that heightened the sense of anticipation before revealing the scene inside. A richly designed cocktail hour stunned all, featuring custom signage by Trellis Creative Co., lush floral installations from Rachael Meader Floral Design, Geranium Lake and Amanda Karam Floral Co., and elegant rentals and décor from Arden Event Collective and Lily & Cane, paired with lavish linens from Creative Coverings. Dramatic draping from Event Co. Luxury Rentals and Runestone Events framed the tunnel and space, while Greenlight Creative elevated the atmosphere with dramatic lighting. Specialty props from Kratiemakes completed the hidden speakeasy aesthetic, inviting guests to explore every thoughtfully curated corner.
Throughout cocktail hour, The Ritz-Carlton, Portland served handcrafted cocktails while culinary offerings from Devil's Food, Sprig & Spread, Cheryl's On 12th and Premiere Catering kept guests sampling scrumptious bites throughout the evening. Guests also enjoyed beer and nonalcoholic beverages from Pelican Brewing and wines from Amaterra Wines. Intentional Espresso crafted specialty coffee drinks, while Pacific Perks Coffee delighted attendees with a playful soda bar experience. Live saxophone performances from Ben Latimer Music filled the room as guests mingled between interactive activations, including casino games from Portland PartyWorks, fortune readings from Portlandia Fortunetellers, tarot readings by Double Gemini Tarot, hair sparkles from Lucky Locks, live caricature sketches from In Likeness of You and personalized calligraphy and engraving by Line and Wave. Quarter Keepsakes provided memorable party favors for guests to take home at the end of the evening.
As attendees entered the awards ceremony, the ballroom glowed beneath dramatic lighting, lush floral installations and elegant décor that reflected the evening's mysterious theme. Music By JFields served as both DJ and MC, guiding guests through the awards ceremony while Lovelight Films Co. opened the evening with a dynamic highlight film celebrating Oregon's wedding community. Oregon Wedding Day's team looked celebration-ready thanks to Edge Hair & Makeup.
Throughout the celebration, Ashley Cook Photography and DavidAnn Weddings documented every memorable moment while Sincerely Captured. Co. preserved the evening through behind-the-scenes content creation. As the awards concluded, the celebration transitioned into an energetic after-party. Dillon Bartell Music kept the dance floor packed before Jordan Kahn Music Company elevated the festivities with live orchestra performances that carried the celebration late into the evening.
Guests also enjoyed immersive entertainment from Storybooth Experience and interactive photo opportunities with The Ashers' photo booth, ensuring plenty of souvenirs beyond the awards themselves. Attendees continued enjoying exceptional hospitality from Devil's Food and The Wait Staff Team while indulging in an extraordinary dessert experience featuring creations from Too Sweet Cakes, Little Banana Bakery, Banquette, Marsh & Mallow Co., The Hungry Hero, SloshyPops and The Mobile Scoops.
