Keenan Mondragon and Adrianna Bogh opted for a fall wedding in Damascus at a private family residence. The couple met in 2020 and Keenan popped the question on a romantic hike in 2021, leading them to plan their nuptials for 2022's autumn season. The duo were enamored with views of Mt. Hood from the home of Adrianna's aunt, and they knew it would be the perfect fit to actualize an autumnal, garden-party celebration. From backpacking to skydiving, Keenan and Adrianna have truly done it all together - and paying homage to their love of the outdoors was key. Adrianna worked to plan many of the details of the event herself for the 75-person wedding that included a special focus on time with loved ones.
As the day's festivities began, Adrianna and her bridal party got ready overlooking a cocktail hour that greeted guests as they arrived. Though it upped the nerves, Adrianna said she loved being able to watch people mingle and spot family members while she was getting ready with her posse. Hues of rust, rose, burgundy and coral were centerstage among the day's design, including a gorgeous wooden a-frame arch that had floral bursts. It was important to weave dahlias into the day given they are Adrianna's favorite flower, and their appearance throughout floral design was a delightful motif of the day. The ceremony intentionally brought many family members into the day; Keenan's step-father officiated the wedding, and Adrianna was walked down the aisle by a combination of her mother, father and step-father.
The reception transformed the family estate into a gorgeous platform for a night of celebration featuring minimalist, elegant décor pieces. Adrianna worked to source much of the décor herself with a combination of items found at various shops and was the essential vision behind the day's design, which emphasized the couple's love for nature and showcased an understated garden ambiance. Bursts of gold were a glitzy accent against traditional fall colors, that brought just a hint of natural glam. A standout from the day undeniably was Adrianna's Alyssa Kristin "Hadley" gown, which featured a dramatic plunging neckline and soft embellished texture. It was a supple addition to the wedding, which had our bride truly glowing on her way to the altar. Keenan and Adrianna both said their expectations for the day were exceeded and it really did allow them to focus on each other and their guests in the most ideal way.
As it important as it was for this to be a day celebrating our love and commitment to one another it was important to celebrate all of our loved ones and to make sure they were taking care of and had a good time.
