Sometimes less truly is more - and in the case of this gorgeous styled shoot at the Oregon Garden Resort, it certainly is. I love the foliage and succulents running across the raw wood table, accented with just a hint of color by the sapphire glasses and paisley napkins, and don't even get me started on the pies! As seen here, a combination of flavors and sizes is a fun way to add variety to a wedding dessert table, and there's something about a freshly-baked pie that just feels more comforting than a standalone cake. Organic textures and tones create a gorgeous palette of inspiration for any bride planning a rustic, earthy wedding - keep scrolling to see the photos and read what the inspired team behind this shoot had to say about it.
From the styling team:
"Ease and elegance are two words you will rarely hear uttered together whilst wedding planning, yet this Oregon Garden inspirational shoot was designed to marry those two concepts. Our goal was to couple a natural, simplistic palette with an infusion of romance and whimsy simultaneously worthy of the elegant bride and inspirational to the DIY lover.
Envisioned by Lane’ of Something Borrowed, we brought together a timeless palette that would remind even the most zealous bride that sometimes less is more when it comes to elegance. A woodland theme with impeccable floral design incorporating seasonal ferns, helleborous, and vines set an organic tone for the table setting and pie bar. An innovative herbal wreath backdrop dripping with rosemary and thyme (which smelled heavenly!) set the stage for local delicacies and blended seamlessly with the year round botanical artistry that the Oregon Garden Resort boasts.
From the locally made wedding dress to the uniquely designed stationery and all details in between, we created a shoot that we hope will inspire with a simple and romantic sense of organic elegance."
