Charlotte Fay and Troy Nicoll’s vintage-themed wedding at Lake Creek Lodge in Sisters was full of sentimental gestures, including handwritten thank-you cards for guests and a display of the mother of the bride’s wedding dress. One of the most creative, and time-consuming, touches was the cross-stitched seating chart made by the bride herself. “It took 110 hours to cross-stitch each friend and family members’ name,” says Charlotte. “But it gave me a chance to reflect on our relationship with them and why they are special to us.”
