As much fun as it is to decorate a wedding, sometimes all
you need is a venue that speaks for itself. Maddie and Alex’s chose to say
their vows at the Mt. Hood Organic Farms for it’s breathtaking view, fresh
fruit trees and unique architecture. The soft femininity of blush,
cream and gold décor perfectly complimented the organic mountain setting. Keep

From the Bride:
"We really wanted our venue
to speak for itself. In that way the decor and theme could be simple, subtle
and fresh. The venue’s grounds are so lush with colorful flowers, fruit trees and
such unique architecture in the reception area of the apple house, so we were
able to really make those the focal points of our decor. The decor that we
added to the already beautiful scenery was well thought out. We had a custom
chalk board done with our bar menu on it, as well as a custom pallet with our
names and Mt. Hood painted on it for our guests to sign as our guest book that we
are now able to hang in our home. We incorporated pops of gold with our candle
votives and other smaller pieces that we did ourselves. We hand glittered all
the votives and spray painted the frame of our welcome sign and marquee letters
gold as well. Overall our goal was for our guests to be blown away by the
location of our wedding. I think that was definitely accomplished."
