FIESTA IN THE FOREST: A search for the perfect Pacific Northwest venue for an outdoor summer wedding led Brian and Melanie to Horning’s Hideout, a forested grove in North Plains, Oregon. The venue allowed the couple to bring in their own caterer—Portland-based Mexican eatery Verde Cocina—for a customized banquet, which was important to the vegan couple.
MEXICAN- AND VINTAGE-INSPIRED DECOR: Decor was inspired by both the couple’s love of vintage design and the groom’s Mexican heritage. Tile coasters hand-stamped with the couple’s wedding date, as well as bright red peonies, ranunculus and roses helped to tie the look together. Additional botanical design elements, such as Melanie and Brian’s protea-draped arbor, added just the right touch to Horning’s Hideout forested space.
