There's not much to be said about Alan and Jacy's wedding that won't be exponentially outdone by the photos of their big day. Seriously - these images are breathtaking! For the nature-loving or dramatically-inclined couple, Oregon's famous Crater Lake makes one a stunning backdrop for tying the knot. Jacy's gown absolutely pops before the expanse of azure in the background. A location with this level of natural beauty provides the added bonus of providing this wedding with a rustic feel without the smattering of details that other affairs require to achieve the same aesthetic. From the coordinator:
"Alan and Jacy had a truly unique wedding in one of the most stunning locations in the country. Fifty of their closest family and friends flew in from all over the country to witness the two tie the knot on the rim of Crater Lake on a beautiful June day. After the ceremony, guests traveled by school bus (perfectly fitting because the bride and groom met in high school) to Diamond Lake Resort, where they enjoyed a delicious dinner, dancing, drinks, and dessert from Sugar Rush Bakery.
Details and decor for the day were simple, with pops of coral in the flowers, cake, ties, and Jacy's daughter's flower girl dress. Sun Blossoms Floral provided a lovely garland to adorn the railing where the ceremony took place, which later graced the head table at the reception. With a location as magnificent as Crater Lake, a ton of decor definitely wasn't necessary. Jacy's lace Maggie Sottero gown looked phenomenal blowing in the wind with Crater Lake in the background.
This wedding was full of surprises (including a last minute change in reception location just days before the wedding), but on the day of the wedding everything went perfectly. The Eugene-based folk/bluegrass band Caitlin Gemma & The Goodness even showed up and performed live for the ceremony, which was completely unexpected and the bride and groom were thrilled. It was an incredibly memorable day that guests will be talking about for years to come, not just because of the beautiful scenery but because of the genuine love between Alan and Jacy and the commitment they made to each other."
