A declaration of love can be celebrated many ways, but Chris and Nicole choose a private elopement to seal their union. This wedding is surely one that will inspire many. Yet it’s not traditionally styled, black, mauve, rose gold and taupe are colors that complement each other exquisitely. These rich hues and dark tones can make one dream of its intense romantic statement. The couple choose Maria from Fern and Grace to plan and design their day and she turned it into a magical enchantment.
The Brookside was the perfect setting for their event to have that certain fairytale atmosphere. As for photography Sarah Morrison from Hazelwood Photo captured the love between two best friends.
Some of the key inspirational elements is the bride’s glamorous Boho velvet gown with its dramatic train from Flutter Dress. Also, the hard to miss dried floral, crescent shaped moon bouquet from Soul Seeds is simply eye catching.
The groom’s black tux is incredibly bold and draws for a gothic feel.
The sweetheart table was remarkably dressed with delectable food and a dry floral decorated cake from Caydee Poter. Decorations such as the black runner, tapered candles, handmade stoneware and skulled needlepoint also adorned the table. Hanging from the tree are the incandescent bulbs that add a bit of a unique vintage look.
The fog accentuated the effect of mystical woodlands.
The couple’s elopement was over the top magical. Just look at their beautiful expressions locked in the photographs. Love exudes from them in their intimate escape into nature.
This moody styled elopement tops conventional weddings any day.
