Wes and Gissel had a two-day celebration full of color, wonder and love designed by Adornment Events. Kicking off their wedding weekend at Cape Horn Estates, the couple featured the unique and distinguished floral designs from Sophisticated Floral featuring colors of deep reds, burnt orange and pale mauves. Gissel stunned in a strapless A-line wedding gown with an added embroidered hooded cape in place of a traditional veil that gave her look a sophisticated and unique flare. Wes stepped out of the traditional box as well and opted for a deep teal suit speckled with tan and warm color details in his tie, boutonniere, and pocket square. For a surprise pop of color, he also featured green frog cufflinks to finish out the magical suite styling. Following their ceremony, the intimate reception of lined wooden tables adorned with bud vases began and featured the Bubly Bar and a donut table to accompany the cake for dessert. No detail of this day was overlooked down to the llama appearance, color coordinated specialty drinks and personalized desert napkins. This whimsical September wedding brought the vintage falls feels in such a unique and intentional way.
The second day of this celebration took place at a private estate in NE Portland and upheld the same unique feel as their big celebration. This intimate garden luncheon featured many similar details in the glass wear, table florals and signage created by Crave Design. The bride wore an elegant vintage floor length gown with an attached lace cape while the groom opted for a lighter blue suit fitting for a midday event. Such an intimate way to close our a magical weekend.
