A team of seasoned wedding artisans embarked on a collaborative journey to craft this gorgeous and delightfully unique styled shoot at the picturesque Youngberg Hill. As part of The Venue Crawl Event, the shoot was created to showcase wedding inspiration in the Willamette Valley; Portland Event & Design took the lead on designing and planning the fête that treated Oregon guests to bites from Portland Catering Company and sips of Youngerg Hill's wines during the event. Rattan became one décor thread that tied the vision together, serving as a modern motif across a vibrant, cohesive design. A ceremony setup overlooking the Willamette Valley featured an aisle lined with rattan baskets filled with bursting florals arranged elegantly by Bella Bloom Florals. A charming altar strayed from tradition featuring organic layered levels of arrangements in complimenting rattan baskets, making for a truly vibrant spot to exchange vows. Our bride was a vision in a gown from Charlotte's Weddings that featured flounce sleeves and a corseted bodice, accessorized with a show-stopping pearl veil from August Veils that featured an ever romantic statement bow. Our groom opted to keep things more classic, with a floral pocket square adding a hint of whimsy to his look. Inside the venue, a table setup was expertly crafted to pair rustic flair with modern trend and fun personal style. Rattan chargers were topped with dainty polka-dotted plates and neatly knotted green napkins making for modern, stylish tablescapes, and a hanging floral installation positioned rattan chandeliers to float above the table among sumptuous greenery. Details were the true star of this design, with personalized newspapers designed for The Venue Crawl Event on display, an adorable audio guest book from After the Tone and an opulent wall of white florals serving as a glam photo booth from Stumptown Booth. Confections from Lux Sucre Desserts were a showcase of bright whimsy, offering a unique take on the classic wedding cake and sweet treats for guests to enjoy.
