It is impossible to imagine that Stephanie Wilson and Nate Dykes knew just how spectacular their big day would be when they decided to host it at Chateau De Harpe. From the outside, the venue offered picture-worthy architecture and lush greenery at every turn, which was nearly rivaled by the elegant European design of the interior. Stephanie, a vision even in her getting-ready attire, was a sight to see as she walked down the aisle in her modern sheath dress, accentuated with draping and pearl detailing at the bodice, and a petite bouquet of white roses in her hand. In the words of Taylor Howie, owner of Howie Photography, “The groom’s eyes said it all—his love for her was undeniable.” After matching bronze-gold rings were exchanged, the party made its way to cocktail hour, where the couple’s signature drinks were served. Excluded from the sophisticated white and black theme were the light yellow bridesmaid dresses, a fun pop of color. A seating chart of muted, natural tones adorned with bud vases invited the newlyweds’ “Best Buds” to find their seats in a soft and pleasing way. As the stars came out over the twinkling lights of the celebration, the guests and bridal party alike began to hit the checkered dancefloor, where the groom and his bride—who had changed into her standout reception dress—danced hand in hand, making memories that will last them a lifetime.
