Kire and Kirenan's love story initially began in their youth, when the duo connected in high school. Fast forward to many years and one proposal later, and the couple found themselves nestled in the urban glow of Seattle, Washington. A tranquil interpretation of nature was a key vision for the couple, and Central Oregon offered mountain landscapes and serenity stretching for miles. Their 2023 nuptials took place at Black Butte Ranch and utilized its recently updated lodge alongside expansive outdoor spaces. Wedding Planner Alisha Reicks-Sturgill of the Indigo Bride commented on the initial inspiration, "The couple's aesthetic vision for the day was one of modern elegance, punctuated by delicate pastels and serene neutrals. Infusing the atmosphere with hues of peaches, creams, and a captivating tapestry of textures, their tablescape radiated with an understated yet vibrant charm." The bridal party wore naturally complementing hues of champagne and navy that were an infusion of elegance along mountainscapes and lush PNW forests. Our bride looked picturesque in two different looks, the first a more traditional take on bridal and the second a whimsy detour into late-night fashion. Perhaps our favorite detail was a dainty and ethereal bow added to the second look, reminiscent of the veil worn during the ceremony. Swathed by natural beauty, the ceremony setup opted for a minimalist setup with white chairs and petals lining the aisle. An evening reception featuring a sit-down dinner and dancing under a canopy of string lights tied the entire event together with refined ease.
