Nestled in Portland’s Pearl District is Events at Hunt & Gather Catering, a venue and catering hybrid that has everything you need for the perfect wedding in one place. The restaurant-style space features industrial elements that lend themselves to a warm dinner party atmosphere, with open-air seating—thanks to floor-toceiling windows—for as many as 125 seated or 200 guests standing. And while the venue is a showstopper, Hunt & Gather Catering’s biggest attraction lies in its culinary creations. Chef Andrew Biggs is classically trained in French culinary techniques and uses local, sustainable ingredients to create gourmet dishes. The open kitchen design allows for an interactive experience between chefs and guests, as the latter get to enjoy watching as dishes such as grilled stone fruit salad with ricotta br l e and cold-poached Alaskan halibut come into existence. Laura Harlow-Biggs, the other half of Hunt & Gather Catering’s dynamic duo, is an event planner with decades of experience and will make sure you get hitched without a hitch at the one-stop venue.
