Many significant moments in the relationship of Stephanie and Nyles have taken place in a collegiate setting: They first met while living in the same dorm at Regis University, and Nyles proposed to Stephanie at his pharmacy school graduation. So, it was only fitting that after saying their vows at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Northwest Portland, they held their wedding reception on the campus of Lewis & Clark College in the university’s Fir Acres Estate Gardens. On a balmy July evening, Stephanie and Nyles dined and danced amid neutral and blush décor complementing the indescribable natural beauty of the garden’s greenery.
The newlyweds and their guests cooled off with Salt & Straw ice cream for dessert. Other whimsical touches included a photo booth with llamas clad in garlands of greenery, and a life-size Connect Four game.
