Jessica and Robin’s wedding at the historic Long Farm Barn can be described with just two words – rustic simplicity. Less is more when it
comes to this style, creating a timeless look that’ll stand the test of
time. The décor is just as rustic and simple as the barn itself, featuring
wooden tables, gorgeous greenery and natural tones – finished with just a touch
of gold. Keep scrolling to the bottom of the page for a note from the bride and a full vendors list.
A Note From the Bride:
“The vision and theme for our wedding was rustic
elegance. We also wanted the event to feel very much Pacific Northwest,
and specially Portland. We chose natural colors and wanted to get
married outdoors in September, which is my favorite month of the year here in
Oregon. We also knew from the beginning that we wanted to have food carts
for dinner and we are thrilled that it worked out! But above everything
else, we wanted our event to be fun and hoped that everyone would have a good
time. That idea is how we came up with our motto for the event: Our Love
Shindig.
Our favorite part of the day was
hearing the words, 'I now pronounce you together forever,' while
standing under a beautiful oak tree in front of our family and friends. It
is a moment we will never forget - everyone was cheering so loudly for us! Another
favorite moment for us was sitting at the table eating dinner and looking out
at all of our loved ones while the sun was setting. It was a truly magical
scene.”
