Though pastel weddings typically get me swooning, I must admit that I’ve become more of a neutral girl when it comes to my tastes elsewhere–black jeans are my uniform, and a “pop of color” often means a piece of gold jewelry—which may explain why I’m in love with Alaina and Rico’s all-black aesthetic. This wedding screams rocker-chic, from the Jack White-look-a-like groom to the bride’s dramatic black princess gown and feathered veil. Red accents and moody candles up the glam factor, while a fun skeleton cake topper and Calaveras flanking the table settings add just the right amount of Halloween-y spookiness. My favorite shots, however, are the images of the newlyweds kicked-back in their hotel room following the festivities. I’m not sure if it’s the vintage feel of the gilded antlers dotted along the wall, or Rico’s worn-down red bottomed shoes, but these photos of the ultra-cool couple could double as their album cover! "The Vintage Plaza Hotel is a perfect venue for an intimate ceremony. The wine cellar offers a unique setting and also serves up a first class dining experience. Congratulations to Alaina and Rico for hosting such a great wedding event!"
