Angie and Matt, both 28, met at Tufts University while Angie was the resident advisor in the dorm of Matt’s closest friends. The night that Matt proposed to Angie, the spontaneous couple flew to Europe to celebrate. Their wedding was inspired by their love for the outdoors and the history and values of their families. Following the ceremony, the couple held a traditional Chinese tea ceremony, honoring Angie’s Hong Kong heritage. Ceremony readings included some of Matt’s favorite quotes from poet Walt Whitman and The Hobbit. The adventurous couple is currently planning their honeymoon to Nepal and the French Alps.
