BLENDING BACKGROUNDS: Sara and Rayan’s classic-meets-cultural wedding included two ceremonies to honor their Persian, Indian and Western heritage. Just as the couple exchanged their vows in the courtyard of the Portland Art Museum, a double-rainbow appeared above them. “It was truly remarkable and a wonderful omen for our marriage as we start this new exciting chapter together,” says Sara.
SPARKLING SEND-OFF: One of the couple’s favorite moments from their special day was entering the reception party as a married couple, which happens to be the same memorable moment from wedding planning. “When we walked into the Grand Ballroom at the Portland Art Museum for the first time, we were in awe of the beauty of the room,” says Sara. To end the night, they exited the museum hand-in-hand, while guests said farewell with an aisle of sparklers.
