GORGEOUS GREENERY: Jacobsen Salt Company’s warehouse space in Southeast Portland served as a blank slate that the couple filled with walnut farm tables and benches. “I didn’t want flowers anywhere, so I was lucky to find Swoon Floral Design who shared the same vision,” says Katie who went with lush greenery, wood details and gold accents for the perfect balance of earthy meets romance.
COMFORT FOOD: The couple opted for a bread and butter bar with a variety of homemade bread and flavored butter. Inspired by Nick’s Hawaiian heritage, the dinner menu consisted of teriyaki chicken, kalhua pig, kalbi ribs, chow mein noodles, macaroni salad, white rice and sushi.
