The pastel craze in recent years has led to some stunning weddings, but this styled shoot reminded us how good a rich color palette can get. Featuring deep red florals, velvet and stationery with black and gold accents, the design also incorporated 1920s motifs. The Art Deco cake and geometric signage combined with simple seating and two sharply dressed grooms for a thoroughly modern look. Decadent details hid in every corner, from the plush velvet, crystal and gold vignette to the rose petal-strewn path to the altar. As we round the corner to the new decade, we're looking forward to refreshingly intricate decor.
Glitzy inspiration at The West End Ballroom in Portland takes us right back to the Jazz Age.
