GOING GREEK: “Coming from a large Greek family, we really wanted to embrace my culture and have a lot of fun,” says Kristina. With that in mind, they incorporated a variety of traditions from taking shots of Ouzo after the ceremony to wearing silk flower crowns that are connected by a ribbon at the altar. “We were able to use the same crowns my parents used 43 years ago that same day,” says Kristina, “It was incredibly special.”
POP OF COLOR: Their watercolor wedding invites were inspired by Kristina’s dramatic red gown by designer Lela Rose, unbeknownst to the groom. “Rory loves color, while I tend to be more drawn to neutral colors,” says Kristina. “So surprising him with my dress was one of my favorite parts.”
